Fursuit Terms Of Service

~It is important to fully read through Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities Terms of Service before commissioning~

Requirements:
~By commissioning MMM for a fursuit you must agree to this TOS, so make sure to read through its entirety.
~A digital reference sheet showing at least the front and back of your character is required. This is to create a costume as accurate to your character as possible. If you do not have an adequate reference sheet, Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities can create you one on commission.
-Submitting an AI generated reference sheet may lead to the refusal for a quote/commission.
~Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities will discuss all details regarding commissions such as what aspects are wanted, material specifics, WIPs, ect via email/social media contacted on.
~You may be asked to provide ID to confirm you are 18+

Sizing:
~For fullsuits, legs and fleece bodysuits; I will require a full body DTD to be sent to me. MMM will also ask you for body measurements to refer to when creating any bodysuit types just incase DTD's are to split and mishape during the making process,
~Armsleeves require either a DTD of one of your arms or the length of your arms and the circumferences of your wrist, upper arm and elbow and the measurement across your back.
~For handpaws I require your palm width, palm length and the length of each finger to make the best fitting handpaws for you.
~For feetpaws I require a DTD of at least one of your feet or measurements set out on MMM's footpaw measurement guide.
~For heads I require the circumference and length of your head as to ensure your head fits correctly.
**Duct Tape Dummies must be made to a good quality and the cut edge taped up well to ensure it does not break upon stuffing. Poorly made DTDs will be sent back to you at your expense or disposed of, and another will have to be made and sent to me**

Payment:
~All Quotes and prices are in GBP (£). If you are using a different currency please convert them to your correct currency.
~To secure a slot in Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities queue; A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit must be paid.
~Deposits will vary depending on the type of commission. Fullsuits require a 30% deposit, heads, mini partials and full partials require a 40% deposit and small parts require a 50% deposit to be paid.
~Payment can be through paypal invoice (international & UK), bank transfer (UK only) or cash (locally).
~Payment plans are available, this will be discussed with the commissioner. Monthly is preferred and start from £100 minimum per month.
~Late payments over 2 weeks without a valid reason will result in a fee of £40 for the late payment and your commission being put on hold till payments are caught up if it is currently in progress; so please ensure you are financially stable before commissioning to avoid this.

Shipping:
~Shipping will be calculated once the commission is completed, I can only give estimates based off previously shipped items until then.
-Small part only commissions will have postage calculated and cost included in the full invoice.
~Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities only ships items with tracking and insurance to cover the value of the item.
~The buyer is responsible for all duty fees, customs or other fees that may be applied when shipped internationally.
-MMM can only ship out suits in the UK, USA and Canada currently.
-In the event a costume goes missing in the post, a refund will be given when it is confirmed lost by the postal company on the tracking.
-In the event of a missing costume with the insurance refusing to pay MMM out in full or only pays partially resulting in a loss for MMM, then IF the costume gets delivered after you already receiving a refund, you will be required to notify MMM of it having done so on the day of receiving it, MMM will be checking the tracking for updates so will find out it has been delivered and may contact you first. You will be required to then either pay for the costume if you wish to keep it or send it back in its original condition received to MMM at MMM's expense - Once the costume has been delivered to MMM a refund for the shipping cost will be sent to the customer.

Cancelling Commissions/refunds:
~Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities has the right to cancel commissions at any stage if the customer becomes violent/threatening.
~If you want to cancel a commission the deposit is non refundable to cover initial work and costs, if work has not been started the rest of the amount will be refunded.
~If you cancel a commission after work has been started, the deposit is non refundable and Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities will determine the amount that can be refunded based upon how much work has been done. Any completed or in progress parts will be sent to the commissioner at their expense.
-If a rush fee has been agreed upon between the commissioner and Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities but it is unable to be met to due to unforseen circumstances on MMM's end, a refund of the rush fee only will be given. It will up to the commissioner if they wish to continue the commission or not at which the usual refund policies apply.
-If Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities has to cancel a commission for any reason which means work will not be made to standard or be able to be finished then a full refund will be given. If work has already been started, MMM will use any parts which are salvagable for a premade where the character will be changed to not reflect the commissioners character. In the case work has been partially completed and the commissioner does not want anything scrapped, MMM will give the option to get a reduced refund to cover the work done and postage of said parts to the commissioner.

Design Changes
~After confirming your slot in Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities queue by paying your deposit, you may request extra parts such as eyelids, removable tongue, extra sets of handpaws, larger tail ect. However any drastic design changes requested such as adding extra colours, patterns or symbols if parts have already been completed, it may not be possible. If parts have not been started, feel free to ask, but it most likely will result in a fee for new markings, especially if new colours are needed.
-Design changes made or additional parts added will increase any estimates given for the work to be completed, this will be discussed with the commissioner.
**Please make sure you are completely happy with your design before commissioning to avoid any issues mid way**

Work In Progress Pics (WIPs)
~Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities will regularly provide WIPs of your commission at each different stage of progress (rough base, completed base, patterning, furring, details, eyes, parts ect) when your confirmation is needed to carry on.
~You may also request WIPs if you would like to see specific parts up close.
**Please do not constantly request WIPs every hour of the days when your suit is being worked on, as excited as you may be it will hinder work**
-You must let Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities know as soon as possible if you notice any errors as they will be very difficult to correct down the line which may result in an additional fee if it requires hours more labour or new materials needing to be sourced.

Estimated completion times:
-Meep’s Marvelous Monstrosities does not usually accept deadlines on any commissions, unless it is easily doable such as when a suit is fully paid off and commissioned 3+months in advance, but this must be discussed and agreed upon with MMM. If a deadline is accepted a 'rush' fee may apply and must be paid on top of the usual commission cost. *see cancelling commissions/refund section for refund terms on rush fees if they cannot be met.
-Meep’s Marvelous Monstrosities usually works on multiple suits at a time (1-2) and any estimated completion times are subject to change depending on payment plan payments, health related reasons and other commissions in the queue. Slots that are fully paid will be priority over all those on payment plans and given estimate start and completion dates, where as those on payment plans will get theirs once fully paid. It also must be understood that MMM is ran by just 1 person.
-Meep’s Marvelous Monstrosities will not rush any commissions as it will most likely affect the quality.

Warranty and repairs:
-Suits and parts made by Meep’s Marvelous Monstrosities have a 3 month warranty which will give free repairs for any popped seams or other parts which need repair if they are a fault on MMM’s part.
-The warranty will become void if MMM’s sees any modifications by the commissioner or another maker have been made, intentional damage, rough/overly strenuous activities such as rough housing, backflips ect, being poorly cared for or has been used for NSFW activities.
-Meep’s Marvelous Monstrosities will recommend that very small seam pops and other very small issues which are easy to fix are done by the commissioner, but it is advised to contact MMM before doing so to ensure it does not affect the warranty if it's still within the first 3 months and that it is okay to go ahead with self repair, which will save shipping the suit/part to me and back.
-If the costume or parts are sold on, even if still in the warranty period, the warranty will become void as soon as the costume/costume parts transfer ownership.
-All repairs after the warranty is up will be done between commissions where possibe and charged at £15 an hour plus shipping and handling costs to ship the suit/part back once repaired. The commissioner is responsible for shipping costs to send the suit/part for repair to MMM.
-If MMM is out at meets, cons or other events the client is welcome to ask for MMM to look over their suit in person and MMM will happily do any small repairs for free there and then providing MMM has the correct supplies on hand and the spare time to do so. If needed and providing MMM has space to safely take suit parts home with, any parts needing harder to do repairs doing, can be taken with MMM to save on shipping.

Fursuit head refurbishments, additions and other services:
MMM does offer refurbishments for older heads MMM has created, these are in different tiers (see misc pricing) based on the extent of work needing doing.
-All refurbishments offered by MMM will need to be discussed prior to see if whats wanted is possible to be done on a minimal or standard refurb or if full head replacement is needed.
-During refurbs additional extras can be added such as magnets for magnetic eyeslids, cheek blushes, adding in markings ect
-MMM offers cleaning services for heads when refurbishments are to be done, these are best if the client is unable to do a thorough deep clean themselves to a high standard to make sure everything is sanitary for MMM to carry out the work needed.
-When cleaning MMM will be using a handheld upholstery cleaner along with laundry cleaners (antibacterial laundry cleanser to remove bacteria and washing liquid for sensitive skin)
Due to potential allergies, you will need to discuss any brands/types of cleaners which MMM will use that may irritate your skin. Despite MMM cleaning thoroughly and doing their best to ensure cleaning product is rinsed out fully, there may be small traces left behind.
-MMM does have mild allergies to different pet fur/dander so please ensure any pet hair is removed where possible before sending and give MMM a heads up on what animal your pet is.
-Any parts which have been around cigarette smoke for long periods in the home/smoked in/vaped in/fire smoke damaged/left damp and moulded will be unable to be refurbished by MMM due to health risks involved doing so and oils from smoking/vaping being impossible for MMM to fully clean and get the scent out from the upholstery foam/fabric.
**MMM will not refurbish any heads/bodysuits/parts which have been used for NSFW purposes, especially heads. If the client fails to notify MMM of this to get their parts refurbished and MMM finds out the client will be permanently blacklisted from any future commissions**

Other
~All emails/messages sent/received will be stored for a period of 2 years. This is for my own records and to protect me from reverse scammers during and after the commission has been completed as there will be proof of it being made, approval of each stage, proof of shipping and the commissioner's agreement to this TOS.
-Any emails/phone numbers provided to MMM for communication, shipping, payment via paypal ect will not be used for marketing purposes or sold on.
~MMM will not deliberately copy another makers style or use other's patterns/templates. Only parts made by MMM will be used which ranges from MMM's own handpaw, tail, eye templates to individually carved headbases.
~MMM makes suits from home and owns hamsters. but they are very unlikely to have contact with materials and finished products as they are kept separate. If you are highly allergic do not commission MMM.
MMM is happy to include 'special features' onto bodysuits ect, ask about it when getting a quote but you will need to provide ID if doing so.
*When contacting MMM please for work/repair/commission/quote purposes please do so using official means on MMM's business socials, not via MMM's personal accounts. Contacting MMM on personal accounts will not get anyone commissions ect done over others and messages are much less likely to be seen*

Important:
*Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities is not liable for any injury or illness which may happen when wearing a costume made by them, it is up to the commissioner to take care of themselves and their fursuit properly and to know their own limits when in suit. The commissioner wears the costume at their own risk and own descretion.
** Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities assumes no liability for any harm that occurs from wearing any costumes. these include but are not limited to:
- Heat stroke or heat exhaustion, injury from impaired vision by costume heads, physical injury from neglect of the costume (eg mould due to improper care), injury to those who are not the commissioner/owner who are allowed to wear the costume by its owner, injury from dangerous activities done whilst wearing the costume (which includes but is not limited to sports of all kinds, rough housing, nsfw acts and those including any form of restraints), drowning from being submerged under water in costume and burning as a result of wearing the costume around naked flames.
All things above can be easily avoided by following recommendations below:
Properly taking care of yourself before, during and after performing in costume by keeping hydrated and having adequately eaten along with performing in shorter sessions, especially during the summer months and avoiding wearing the costume completely during a heatwave.
Practice wearing your costume in a safe environment where you can learn the vision and movement limitations of your costume.
DO NOT FURSUIT ALONE, especially in any public areas for your own safety. When fursuiting in public you msut ensure you are with a group of trusted individuals to help keep you safe from violence and other hazards where outside (including but not limited to curbs, potholes, bollards, tree roots)
Keep away from any naked flames when in costume and never submerge yourself in any body of water.
Properly care for and clean your suit, especially inside the head as sweat may slowly break down materials over time if left for long periods without cleaning. Also if the suit is not fully dry after cleaning and stored it risks damaging the suit and potential mould growth inside a damp head which will cause it to become a health hazard and will need completely replacing.
-You must read MMM's terms of service before requesting a quote so you are familiar with the making process, where MMM can ship to ect, the code is smolrat, MMM will not give quotes if the code isnt given on the form.

Premade fursuits and items:
Premade fursuits and fursuit parts have their own refund terms:
-You may return the premade item if it is no longer wanted, providing no custom alterations or additions were requested, paid for and completed before the item was sent out. This includes altering measurements of costume items to fit the customer better or the customer adding on additional extras to customise it which were not in the original listing or included in the original price. The refund MUST be requested within 14 calender days of receiving the costume/costume parts and be sent back within a further 14 calender days using a tracked and fully insured to cover the value of the item postage service using a postal carrier of MMM's choice.
-ALL parts of the costume must be returned if getting a refund for a premade costume if deciding you no longer want it,you cant just decide you dont want just the handpaws for example, this also includes any and all included customised items included in the original price such as fursuit badges, reference sheets, physical items. Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities retains the rights to any name decided on for the character if a full refund is given, which allows MMM to sell on the costume along with the character rights and any additional items alongside without requiring additional work to change the character.
-Any costume parts will be sent back at the customers expense unless its due to the parts arriving with faults from the making process which were not stated/shown in the original listing, if that is the case MMM will refund the shipping cost too once returned. Small flaws due to the nature of each costume/costume part being handmade are NOT a fault - faults would include holes in any lining, unfinished areas (eg nose not being attached to the costume correctly), dead magnets, the costume being unable to be worn properly (for example a whole finger being sewn up where it shouldnt be), areas shaved down to the backing fully in an area larger than 1cm diameter, which were not stated in the listing.
Full refunds and potentially even partial refunds cannot be given if:
-A refund cannot be given for the costume if it was sold as a set (eg head, handpaws and tail) that includes additional items which were customised with a name chosen by the customer, if said customer does not return the additional items with the rest of the costume or refuses to demanding the name they chose to be changed. MMM will also NOT cover the postage of any missing items, its is the customers responsibility to ensure all items are sent back in order to get a refund.
-The costume parts have been soiled - a refund cannot be given if the costume part has been worn out anywhere other than for initial trying on (heads have their own refund terms due to their nature) which includes but is not limited to wearing at a convention, furmeet, outdoors or small meetup which would dirty the costume/costume parts. Any parts worn and soiled will be subject to a deep cleaning fee by MMM and reduce the refund amount paid if one is agreed to.
Do NOT clean any fursuit parts before sending back to MMM due to potentially damaging the parts if washed incorrectly, mould growth if incorrectly dried and allergy risk/skin irritation caused by cleaning products used by the customer. By cleaning yourself you will not avoid the deep cleaning charge from soiling your suit and may be refused a refund and have the item sent back to you at your own expense.
-Refunds cannot be given if any alterations/repairs/additions have been made to the costume/costume part by the customer within the 14 day period.
-Refunds cannot be given if the customer has contaminated the costume or costume part with cigarette or marijuana smoke - this includes smoking in proximity to the costume/costume part, storing in a room where it can be contaminated with or putting on the costume after smoking so the contaminants will transfer directly into the fabrics. The smoke will make the costume/costume part worthless due to the substances being unable to be removed and being a health hazard. This also applies to fire smoke as it cannot be salvaged.
Premade costume heads have their own refund terms due to the nature of them:
A premade costume head can only be sent back for a refund if it doesnt fit at all to the original measurements given in the listing or is faulty so unable to be worn, it is the customers responsibility to double check their head measurements are correct and they will fit the premade costume head, being slightly roomy is not a reason for not fitting, only not fitting on at all is.
-Heads must only be tried on with a balaclava fully covering the customers face/hair to check the fit and then immediately taken off and sprayed with a 50/50 isopropyl alcohol unscented spray to disinfect. ENSURE THE EYE BACKS ARE COVERED AND NOT SPRAYED WITH ANY ISOPROPYL. You must air out the head for a period of 6 hours minimum in a well ventilated room to dry out completely before packing back up. It is the customers responsibility to follow this to get a refund if the head does not fit at all and it is due to MMM's fault giving incorrect measurements in the listing to get a refund.
-Premade costume heads cannot be refunded for if worn out to a convention, furmeet or community event due to the nature of them for hygene reasons.
-Refunds agreed upon will be given as soon as the item has been returned to MMM and has been checked over for deliberate damage, smoke damage (fire and cigarette smoke). MMM will record the opening of the box and the inspection of the costume/costume parts for their own protection in the event of fraud (sending anything that isnt the costume part being returned and claiming it was the costume part) or the customer lying about the condition and usage - costumes are usually photographed at conventions, furmeets and other community events and dated, if MMM finds out you have lied you will be permantently blacklisted. If a refund has been given based on a customers lie to get out of the cleaning fee ect an email explaining with found evidence and a discussion will be needed to make it right. If not, legal action may be persued to seek damages.
-You must not send back an item without notifying Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities first and requesting a refund. It will be sent back to you at your own expense if so.
-After 14 days of receiving the costume/costume part, a refund is not possible, instead MMM will suggest a repair if needed instead if it falls under the 3 month warranty MMM has on all costumes/costume parts. The warranty section of MMM's TOS applies here.
-The customer is allowed to sell on the premade costume/costume parts if they cannot get a refund from MMM or simply choose to sell the costume on. In this case the warranty will not pass on to the next owner and will become void. The new owner may contact MMM for repairs or alterations if needed *see warranty section for future repairs.

-Suits and parts made by Meep’s Marvelous Monstrosities have a 3 month warranty which will give free repairs for any popped seams or other parts which need repair if they are a fault on MMM’s part.
-The warranty will become void if MMM’s sees any modifications by the commissioner or another maker have been made, intentional damage, rough/overly strenuous activities such as rough housing, backflips ect, being poorly cared for or has been used for NSFW activities.
-Meep’s Marvelous Monstrosities will recommend that very small seam pops and other very small issues which are easy to fix are done by the commissioner, but it is advised to contact MMM before doing so to ensure it does not affect the warranty if it's still within the first 3 months and that it is okay to go ahead with self repair, which will save shipping the suit/part to me and back.
-If the costume or parts are sold on, even if still in the warranty period, the warranty will become void as soon as the costume/costume parts transfer ownership.
-All repairs after the warranty is up will be done between commissions where possibe and charged at £15 an hour plus shipping and handling costs to ship the suit/part back once repaired. The commissioner is responsible for shipping costs to send the suit/part for repair to MMM.
-If MMM is out at meets, cons or other events the client is welcome to ask for MMM to look over their suit in person and MMM will happily do any small repairs for free there and then providing MMM has the correct supplies on hand and the spare time to do so. If needed and providing MMM has space to safely take suit parts home with, any parts needing harder to do repairs doing, can be taken with MMM to save on shipping.

Fursuit head refurbishments, additions and other services:
MMM does offer refurbishments for older heads MMM has created, these are in different tiers (see misc pricing) based on the extent of work needing doing.
-All refurbishments offered by MMM will need to be discussed prior to see if whats wanted is possible to be done on a minimal or standard refurb or if full head replacement is needed.
-During refurbs additional extras can be added such as magnets for magnetic eyeslids, cheek blushes, adding in markings ect
-MMM offers cleaning services for heads when refurbishments are to be done, these are best if the client is unable to do a thorough deep clean themselves to a high standard to make sure everything is sanitary for MMM to carry out the work needed.
-When cleaning MMM will be using a handheld upholstery cleaner along with laundry cleaners (antibacterial laundry cleanser to remove bacteria and washing liquid for sensitive skin)
Due to potential allergies, you will need to discuss any brands/types of cleaners which MMM will use that may irritate your skin. Despite MMM cleaning thoroughly and doing their best to ensure cleaning product is rinsed out fully, there may be small traces left behind.
-MMM does have mild allergies to different pet fur/dander so please ensure any pet hair is removed where possible before sending and give MMM a heads up on what animal your pet is.
-Any parts which have been around cigarette smoke for long periods in the home/smoked in/vaped in/fire smoke damaged/left damp and moulded will be unable to be refurbished by MMM due to health risks involved doing so and oils from smoking/vaping being impossible for MMM to fully clean and get the scent out from the upholstery foam/fabric.
**MMM will not refurbish any heads/bodysuits/parts which have been used for NSFW purposes, especially heads. If the client fails to notify MMM of this to get their parts refurbished and MMM finds out the client will be permanently blacklisted from any future commissions**

Other
~All emails/messages sent/received will be stored for a period of 2 years. This is for my own records and to protect me from reverse scammers during and after the commission has been completed as there will be proof of it being made, approval of each stage, proof of shipping and the commissioner's agreement to this TOS.
-Any emails/phone numbers provided to MMM for communication, shipping, payment via paypal ect will not be used for marketing purposes or sold on.
~MMM will not deliberately copy another makers style or use other's patterns/templates. Only parts made by MMM will be used which ranges from MMM's own handpaw, tail, eye templates to individually carved headbases.
~MMM makes suits from home and owns hamsters. but they are very unlikely to have contact with materials and finished products as they are kept separate. If you are highly allergic do not commission MMM.
MMM is happy to include 'special features' onto bodysuits ect, ask about it when getting a quote but you will need to provide ID if doing so.
*When contacting MMM please for work/repair/commission/quote purposes please do so using official means on MMM's business socials, not via MMM's personal accounts. Contacting MMM on personal accounts will not get anyone commissions ect done over others and messages are much less likely to be seen*

*Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities is not liable for any injury or illness which may happen when wearing a costume made by them, it is up to the commissioner to take care of themselves and their fursuit properly and to know their own limits when in suit. The commissioner wears the costume at their own risk and own descretion.
** Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities assumes no liability for any harm that occurs from wearing any costumes. these include but are not limited to:
- Heat stroke or heat exhaustion, injury from impaired vision by costume heads, physical injury from neglect of the costume (eg mould due to improper care), injury to those who are not the commissioner/owner who are allowed to wear the costume by its owner, injury from dangerous activities done whilst wearing the costume (which includes but is not limited to sports of all kinds, rough housing, nsfw acts and those including any form of restraints), drowning from being submerged under water in costume and burning as a result of wearing the costume around naked flames.
All things above can be easily avoided by following recommendations below:
Properly taking care of yourself before, during and after performing in costume by keeping hydrated and having adequately eaten along with performing in shorter sessions, especially during the summer months and avoiding wearing the costume completely during a heatwave.
Practice wearing your costume in a safe environment where you can learn the vision and movement limitations of your costume.
DO NOT FURSUIT ALONE, especially in any public areas for your own safety. When fursuiting in public you msut ensure you are with a group of trusted individuals to help keep you safe from violence and other hazards where outside (including but not limited to curbs, potholes, bollards, tree roots)
Keep away from any naked flames when in costume and never submerge yourself in any body of water.
Properly care for and clean your suit, especially inside the head as sweat may slowly break down materials over time if left for long periods without cleaning. Also if the suit is not fully dry after cleaning and stored it risks damaging the suit and potential mould growth inside a damp head which will cause it to become a health hazard and will need completely replacing.
-You must read MMM's terms of service before requesting a quote so you are familiar with the making process, where MMM can ship to ect, the code is smolrat, MMM will not give quotes if the code isnt given on the form.

Premade fursuits and items:
Premade fursuits and fursuit parts have their own refund terms:
-You may return the premade item if it is no longer wanted, providing no custom alterations or additions were requested, paid for and completed before the item was sent out. This includes altering measurements of costume items to fit the customer better or the customer adding on additional extras to customise it which were not in the original listing or included in the original price. The refund MUST be requested within 14 calender days of receiving the costume/costume parts and be sent back within a further 14 calender days using a tracked and fully insured to cover the value of the item postage service using a postal carrier of MMM's choice.
-ALL parts of the costume must be returned if getting a refund for a premade costume if deciding you no longer want it,you cant just decide you dont want just the handpaws for example, this also includes any and all included customised items included in the original price such as fursuit badges, reference sheets, physical items. Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities retains the rights to any name decided on for the character if a full refund is given, which allows MMM to sell on the costume along with the character rights and any additional items alongside without requiring additional work to change the character.
-Any costume parts will be sent back at the customers expense unless its due to the parts arriving with faults from the making process which were not stated/shown in the original listing, if that is the case MMM will refund the shipping cost too once returned. Small flaws due to the nature of each costume/costume part being handmade are NOT a fault - faults would include holes in any lining, unfinished areas (eg nose not being attached to the costume correctly), dead magnets, the costume being unable to be worn properly (for example a whole finger being sewn up where it shouldnt be), areas shaved down to the backing fully in an area larger than 1cm diameter, which were not stated in the listing.
Full refunds and potentially even partial refunds cannot be given if:
-A refund cannot be given for the costume if it was sold as a set (eg head, handpaws and tail) that includes additional items which were customised with a name chosen by the customer, if said customer does not return the additional items with the rest of the costume or refuses to demanding the name they chose to be changed. MMM will also NOT cover the postage of any missing items, its is the customers responsibility to ensure all items are sent back in order to get a refund.
-The costume parts have been soiled - a refund cannot be given if the costume part has been worn out anywhere other than for initial trying on (heads have their own refund terms due to their nature) which includes but is not limited to wearing at a convention, furmeet, outdoors or small meetup which would dirty the costume/costume parts. Any parts worn and soiled will be subject to a deep cleaning fee by MMM and reduce the refund amount paid if one is agreed to.
Do NOT clean any fursuit parts before sending back to MMM due to potentially damaging the parts if washed incorrectly, mould growth if incorrectly dried and allergy risk/skin irritation caused by cleaning products used by the customer. By cleaning yourself you will not avoid the deep cleaning charge from soiling your suit and may be refused a refund and have the item sent back to you at your own expense.
-Refunds cannot be given if any alterations/repairs/additions have been made to the costume/costume part by the customer within the 14 day period.
-Refunds cannot be given if the customer has contaminated the costume or costume part with cigarette or marijuana smoke - this includes smoking in proximity to the costume/costume part, storing in a room where it can be contaminated with or putting on the costume after smoking so the contaminants will transfer directly into the fabrics. The smoke will make the costume/costume part worthless due to the substances being unable to be removed and being a health hazard. This also applies to fire smoke as it cannot be salvaged.
Premade costume heads have their own refund terms due to the nature of them:
A premade costume head can only be sent back for a refund if it doesnt fit at all to the original measurements given in the listing or is faulty so unable to be worn, it is the customers responsibility to double check their head measurements are correct and they will fit the premade costume head, being slightly roomy is not a reason for not fitting, only not fitting on at all is.
-Heads must only be tried on with a balaclava fully covering the customers face/hair to check the fit and then immediately taken off and sprayed with a 50/50 isopropyl alcohol unscented spray to disinfect. ENSURE THE EYE BACKS ARE COVERED AND NOT SPRAYED WITH ANY ISOPROPYL. You must air out the head for a period of 6 hours minimum in a well ventilated room to dry out completely before packing back up. It is the customers responsibility to follow this to get a refund if the head does not fit at all and it is due to MMM's fault giving incorrect measurements in the listing to get a refund.
-Premade costume heads cannot be refunded for if worn out to a convention, furmeet or community event due to the nature of them for hygene reasons.
-Refunds agreed upon will be given as soon as the item has been returned to MMM and has been checked over for deliberate damage, smoke damage (fire and cigarette smoke). MMM will record the opening of the box and the inspection of the costume/costume parts for their own protection in the event of fraud (sending anything that isnt the costume part being returned and claiming it was the costume part) or the customer lying about the condition and usage - costumes are usually photographed at conventions, furmeets and other community events and dated, if MMM finds out you have lied you will be permantently blacklisted. If a refund has been given based on a customers lie to get out of the cleaning fee ect an email explaining with found evidence and a discussion will be needed to make it right. If not, legal action may be persued to seek damages.
-You must not send back an item without notifying Meep's Marvelous Monstrosities first and requesting a refund. It will be sent back to you at your own expense if so.
-After 14 days of receiving the costume/costume part, a refund is not possible, instead MMM will suggest a repair if needed instead if it falls under the 3 month warranty MMM has on all costumes/costume parts. The warranty section of MMM's TOS applies here.
-The customer is allowed to sell on the premade costume/costume parts if they cannot get a refund from MMM or simply choose to sell the costume on. In this case the warranty will not pass on to the next owner and will become void. The new owner may contact MMM for repairs or alterations if needed *see warranty section for future repairs.
